The Rose of the Month for February 2012 is Melody Parfumee.

This mauve rose, with a rating of 7.8, has one of the strongest scents of modern roses. Its sweet old rose scent should be enough to mark it as a `favorite` but its deep plum, high centered blooms which blend to a rich lavender and a silvery shade also provide beauty for bouquets ( photo by Courtesy Jackson & Perkins )
