The Roses of 2016
Each year rose growers introduce their new roses to the public around the end of August . As with all producers, new product introductions are coordinated to the "selling season" of their product, which is early spring for roses in the United States. While on-line sales are increasing , most sales are still through retailers, who only want to stock plants which are likely to sell out. The six months between the introduction of new roses and their retail sales are needed to allow retailers to try to predict which roses will sell well, and for wholesalers to create the supply to meet the retailer's requests.

For us, as rose growers, the problem is to determine which roses we want early enough so we may obtain them before they sell out. ( Often, in the casses of the most popular roses , the better mail order sellers are sold out by January.) To assist you, we provide a virtual tour of
