| We try to feature a rose as our "Rose of The Month" each month . The featured rose does not have to be new, nor does it have to
be a winner of many awards.
What we do want is a rose which has an advocate - someone who feels strongly enough about the rose to nominate that rose by writing a short (less than a page) article explaining his or her reasons for interest in, or attachment to, that rose. We would like our rose suggestions to come from members (but you do not have to be a member to nominate a rose), and we really want the nomination to be based upon the writer's own experience with the rose, also that experience would preferably be in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. If, after reviewing our Rose of The Month Selections, and the selections on the ARS website, you would like to nominate a rose ( or ask questions about nominating a rose) please contact us at B-SRS.ORG or inquire at a meeting.
