The New AOE Winners

The Award of Excellence program was set up by the ARS to:

foster the development of new and better miniature and Mini-Flora roses,
promote the establishment of rose test gardens in order to acquaint rose growers with the most worthy miniature and Mini-Flora roses,
make awards to superior new miniature and Mini-Flora rose varieties and to publicize and recommend those varieties.
